” If Karl Joseph makes strides and Gareon Conley and Obi Melifonwu can stay healthy and develop”

That’s a lot of ifs, but it would certainly be nice to give Irvin and Mack more than a tenth of a second to get to the quarterback.

Chubb would be great. Having a great pass rush helps the entire d.

Fitz would be transformative. As you stated, he can play all the DB spots and at a high level. He can get everyone aligned and would lead even as a rookie. The guy knows how to win.

Worries about who can cover the slot, he can. Play against top TE’s, he can. Force that needed turnover in a close game, he can. Shutdown corner, he can do that. The only thing he cant do, is cover all of them at the same time.

Could be our next Cwood. He has the tools and personal drive to be that good.
