Veteran cornerback Robert Alford’s unemployment lasted about 48 hours before the Arizona Cardinals swooped in Thursday and handed him a three-year contract that guarantees him $13.5 million and the chance to net as much as $24 million. He could have helped the Raiders, but now that he’s gone coach Jon Gruden can shift his focus
This was a good idea. Cards sign him for a relatively inexpensive contract for a good corner. Wish the Raiders would have tried to do that
hey cork, have u heard or can u ask if the Raiders are going to put a Raiders HOF in their new stadium in LV?
I have heard that a Raiders-themed HOF is going to be part of the stadium project, or done in conjunction with the stadium project. Thanks for reminding me.
It would be nice to find and sign a true starting CB on the FA market and supplement with at least one more in the draft.
It is nice to find gems in the UDFA pool and PS players too. But making a habit of this can be very risky.
